Little Caesars robbed Friday Update

On 10 Jun at 11:00 a female entered Little Caesars Pizza holding a knife. A male then ran into the store wearing a balaclava and holding a can of what appeared to be bear spray. He demanded the employees get on the floor then attended the rear of the store with an employee, where a quantity of money was removed from the safe. The female made an unsuccessful attempt to open the cash register then both suspects fled running north through the parking lot.

A search of the area by police located clothing and a balaclava on a trail nearby.

A female suspect was arrested on the 600 Block of O'Brien St. and a male suspect was arrested at a residence on Vanier St.

Subsequent investigation revealed that an employee of Little Caesars had also been a party to the offence.

Shyanne McCoy 18yrs of McLeod St was charged with Robbery and Breach of Conditional Sentence.

Ryan Abraham 18yrs of Vanier St is charged with Robbery and Disguise with Intent.

Ken Henderson 21yrs of Sage Rd is charged with Robbery as a party to the offence.

All three were held in custody for a bail hearing.

Csts Aimee Wilson, Geoff Whittle, and D/Cst Jason Long are investigating.

Little Ceasers on Shirreff Avenue was robbed Friday night.

Details are minimal but reports indicate that 2 employees were held at knife point by a male and female suspect who made off with about two thousand dollars in cash.

The investigation continues.
