Jane St. neighbour makes citizen's arrest

At 11:22PM on June 8th a man who was observed searching through a vehicle in the 1400 block of Jane St was arrested by a neighbour and turned over to police.

Michael Gervais 21yrs of Jane St has been charged with Attempt Theft, Possession of Stolen Property, and Trespass by Night.

He is to appear in court on July 19th. Other items were recovered at the time of arrest.

Any resident of the area who had a vehicle entered on the evening of June 8th is asked to contact Cst Gerry Martin at 705-497-5555.
