Looking for something fun for the kids to do on the final Professional Development Day of the year on June 10? Register your six to ten year old for an Environmental Day Camp offered by the North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority.

The PD day camps are designed for elementary school students based on the NBMCA’s successful Summer Environmental Camp Programs. Registration is now being accepted for the Camp which runs from 8:30am - 4:30pm. Space is limited, therefore registration is required by June 3 at noon.

“During Enviro Camp the kids learn about the different changes in nature during the spring, developing knowledge they’ll be able to use in years to come,” explains Dale D’Allaire, NBMCA’s Naturalist.

Children will participate in a variety of environmentally based indoor and outdoor activities including a spring hike, games and crafts. A pizza lunch is included in the $32.00 camp fee.
The public is asked to contact Dale D’Allaire at the North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority at (705) 474-5420 for more information or to register.

The North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority (NBMCA) was founded in 1972 by the Province of Ontario and the NBMCA’s 10 member municipalities. A non-profit organization, the NBMCA works closely with the public to balance human needs with the environmental needs of the region’s watershed. The NBMCA is one of 36 Conservation Authorities who are members of Conservation Ontario.
