Sundridge man dies in forestry accident

LOUNT – On Tuesday, May 31st, 2011 at approximately 11:30 am. Almaguin Highlands OPP were dispatched to an industrial accident in Lount Twp.

Police and ambulance arrived at the scene and found a male who had been injured when his mini excavator had overturned, trapping him.

The male ultimately succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The deceased has been identified as Larry ROBINSON, age 69, of Strong Twp.

A post mortem will be held on Wednesday, June 1st, 2011 in Parry Sound.

The incident is under investigation by the Almaguin Highlands OPP Detachment and the Ministry of Labour.
