Main St. woman charged with Break Enter and Theft

Between 4:30 AM and 5:32AM Apr 9th North Bay Police responded to 3 Break and Enter alarms in the downtown area. All 3 businesses were entered by smashing glass on the doors.

Ashley Vaillancourt 23yrs of Main St E was apprehended in the 3rd establishment in possession of a hammer and items from the other stores. She is charged with 3 counts of Break Enter and Theft, 1 Count of Break Enter with Intent, and Possession of Break in Tools.

She was held in custody for a bail hearing.

Cst Scott Buchannan is investigating.
