On 10 Apr an 83 yr old man was given a cookie by a neighbour.

It is alleged that he was told that the cookie was homemade and very good. A short time later the man felt dizzy, could not control his limbs, then could not move his limbs and was sick to his stomach. He was taken to hospital by ambulance where toxicology results found methamphetamine and cannabinoids in his system.

The neighbour, Jamey Syvrais 34yrs was arrested and charged with 2 counts of Trafficking in a controlled substance. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
