Longest morning surpasses goal

They were tired and warn out by 10am Friday morning, but the 100.5 EZ Rock dynamic duo were also thrilled to know they helped raise over $90,000 for area kids.

Kevin and Joël's 53-hour on air marathon in support of Rotary For Kids and NADY (Nipissing Association of Disabled Youth) surpassed last year's $80,535 by nearly $12,000.

Before signing off the air and heading home for an extra long nap the duo thanked the community for getting behind them over the three-day event and supporting a truly worthwhile cause.

NADY spokesman Dooley Ricci says the funds mean never having to say no to the kids. The funds remain in the community.
