Students and staff remained safe this morning as police responded to a report of an unwanted person on the property at Parry Sound High School. When police arrived, the unwanted individual was located and escorted from the property.
As a safety precaution, the school entered a lockdown for approximately 15 minutes while police conducted their investigation.
The Near North District School Board would like to thank the school staff and the Ontario Provincial Police – West Parry Sound Detachment who worked diligently to deal with this concern.
