Luc Morin pleaded guilty to hunting moose without a proper licence. A firearm seized by conservation officers and will be returned when the fine is paid.

Court heard that on November 8, 2010, in Alderson Township south of Hearst, Morin, who was licensed to hunt a calf moose only, shot a cow moose.

Justice of the Peace Jean-Marie Blier heard the cases in the Ontario Court of Justice, Hearst, on March 08, 2011.

The Ministry of Natural Resources reminds the public that conservation officers enforce the laws and regulations that protect our natural resources from abuse. They will fine any violators that intentionally take opportunities away from responsible and legally licensed hunters.
