Traffic stop leads to drug charges

At 7:17PM 18th Mar a traffic stop on Pinewood Park Dr resulted in the arrest of a passenger in the vehicle.

A subsequent search located 186 – 80milligram oxycontin pills, 20 – 40milligram oxycontin pills and a flick knife.

Philip Lachance 34yrs of Callander was charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of a Prohibited Weapon.

He is to appear in court on 24th May2011. Cst Aaron Northrup is investigating.
