Emerson hits the million-view mark

If you have watched the video ‘Emerson - Mommy's Nose is Scary! (Original)’ then you may not be surprised to learn that in just two and a half days the video passed the million-view mark.

Trackers from our sister sight SooToday.com report that as of 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, the video of SooToday’s News Editor Dave Helwig’s grandson had been viewed 1,232,120 times and currently has 2,104,000 hits.

SooToday.com also reports that more than 182,000 people have posted the popular video on their Facebook profiles.

They also report that Emerson’s video is taking over the internet and can be viewed on international sites that include MSN.com, the featured videos page of Bing.com, as well as on 4gifs.com, dooce.com and gorillamask.net, and the very popular PeresHilton.com.

"So cute!" writes Hilton on his popular gossip site PerezHilton.com. "Best wishes to the baby and mother!"

Emerson is currently the most e-mailed item on PerezHilton.com.

Popular YouTube video reviewer William Ray Johnson noted Wednesday that Emerson’s was probably his favourite video so far this year.

"Seriously, I bet this one will go big," said Johnson on his Facebook page, who is expected to feature Emerson today on his own Youtube channel - the #2 most-subscribed of all time.
