Lakeshore Dr. man brings his sword to the bank ... gets arrested

On 14th Mar at 10:30 AM North Bay Police responded to a call about a man with a sword in a bank on Main St.

Upon arrival the man was located outside the bank on the sidewalk yelling and swearing carrying a sheathed homemade sword with an 18inch blade.

Russel Joles 22yrs of Lakeshore Dr was arrested and charged with Cause a Disturbance and Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public Peace.

He was held in custody for a bail hearing.

Cst Dan Shepstone is investigating.
