Corbeil woman charged for major fraud

On 14th Feb 2011 The North Bay Police responded to a complaint by a business of several suspicious transactions being initiated by an employee.

A subsequent fraud investigation has resulted in Kimberly Howe 42yrs of Corbeil being charged with 4 counts of Fraud over $5000.00, 1 count of Fraud Under $5000.00, Possession of Property obtained by Crime and Uttering a Forged Document. It is alleged that between Jan 2007 and Feb 2011 that there were 2,637 transactions processed that defrauded the employer of $253,939.98.

She is to appear in court on 22Mar2011.

The North Bay Police Fraud Co-ordinator D/Cst Denis Levasseur is investigating.
