Police looking for bat wielding suspect Update

Further to the incident on Fisher St where a man entered a building and threatened a worker with a bat. On 7th Mar at 12:37PM Gilbert Shymanski 43yrs of Regina St turned himself in at the North Bay Police Service. He was arrested and charged with Threatening and Assault with a Weapon. He has been held in custody for a bail hearing.

On the 5th Mar at 12:00 noon it is alleged that a man entered a premises on Fisher St where he threatened to kill one of the workers. He was carrying a baseball bat and raised it above his head in a menacing manner causing the worker to flee the building.

Upon arrival of Police the suspect had also fled. Csts Scott Buchanan and Chris Marshall are continuing the investigation.
