SAULT STE. MARIE – Northern Credit Union is helping northerners prepare for their golden years with a Registered Retirement Savings Plan boot camp. The seminar will walk participants through a series of exercises to help them trim down expenses and bulk up their retirement savings.

The interactive seminar which is open to Members and the general public will be held in conjunction with Northern Credit Union’s Branch Annual Meetings being held in 18 different communities throughout the north between February 15 and March 10, 2011.

The boot camps will answer important questions such as:
• How much money do you need to retire
• How much money should you save every year to ensure you can meet your retirement goals
The session will also provide practical advice on borrowing and investing.
