City woman arrested after setting off false alarm

At 3:20PM 09 Feb the North Bay Fire Dept responded to a fire alarm at a Fraser St address. A 20 yr old woman was subsequently arrested by the North Bay Police and charged with False Alarm of Fire and Public Intoxication.

It was alleged that the reason the alarm was pulled was that a friend would not answer the door and setting the alarm off would make sure he did.

She is to appear in court on Mar 22nd 2011. Csts Gerry Martin and Scott Buchanan are investigating.
