This Saturday, February 12 we have My Valentine's Sweets Food Art Competition happening from 12-4 pm in the gallery shop.
Come visit the gallery to view all the cookies, tarts, cakes and other sugary creations by local artists.

The WKP Kennedy Gallery is kicking off the new year by hosting a number of exciting events and the first one on February 12 is a sweet one.
The My Valentine's Sweets Food Art Competition will take place in the gallery and shop from noon till 3pm. Everyone is encouraged stop by and view all the cookies, tarts, cakes and other sugary creations by local artists.

The second big event planned for the gallery is the triumphant return of the 3B Downtown Fashion Show -- 3B2.
3B2 is a fashion show comprised of wearable art creations inspired by film and will take place in May 2011.
"This year, we have selected the films Black Swan, Beetlejuice and Breakfast at Tiffany's for inspiration," notes Alex Maeve Campbell, Gallery Coordinator.
"We are currently seeking desiginers, fabric artists, jewellery, accessories, performance artists, models and more."
