Victory Public School closed for the day

Due to an issue with a boiler, there has been a loss of heat at Victory Public School in Parry Sound. As a result of the loss of heat in today’s cold weather conditions, the school is closing for the day.

School staff are contacting parents and caregivers to come to the school to pick up their children. Students who do not make contact with parents or caregivers will relocate to William Beatty Public School for the remainder of the day. Buses transporting students who arrived at Victory Public School will depart the school at the end of the day, as per usual, to return students home.

The Near North District School Board staff are working diligently to deal with this concern.
