Woman charged with possession of a prohibited weapon

On 26th Jan at approximately 6:22AM an arranged meeting took place at the intersection of Ann St and Lansdowne St between a male and another male in the company of a female. It is alleged that the 2 males started fighting and the female sprayed them with bear spray which is a type of O/C spray. On arrival of police all 3 parties were suffering from the effects of O/C spray.

Samantha Yandeau 24yrs of Front St was arrested and charged with Weapon Dangerous, Possession of a Prohibited Weapon and Breach of Probation. She is to appear in court on Mar 22 2011.

Csts Chris Marshall and Anthony Corrente are investigating.
