Campbellford man charged following home invasion

On Dec 29th at 7:00PM a male person wearing a black hat and a black scarf pulled up over his face, forced his way into a side door of a Labreche st. residence. The male person started pushing and shoving the owner while demanding money and drugs. The owner kept backing up and went out the front door. Once outside the owner and the suspect started exchanging punches and the culprit fled.

The owner sustained some bruising to his face.

Investigation by The North Bay Police led to the arrest of a male person at 2:29AM 30 Dec.

Lucas Nehrling 31yrs of Campbellford Ont is charged with Break and Enter with Intent to Commit Robbery, Disguise with Intent, Assault, and 2 counts of Breach of Recognizance.

He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
