Ann St. man faces a number of firearm charges

On 30Nov at 9:40 PM a man strapped on an ammunition belt with 12 rounds and a hunting knife on it. He then took his 12 gauge shotgun and began wandering the halls of an Ann St apartment building shouting obscenities. On one occasion he was observed yelling at one apartment pointing the shotgun at the door.

The North Bay Police attended and arrested the subject. Subsequent to the arrest the man attempted to fight with the police. A search of his residence located several more firearms.

Timothy Jacklin 44yrs of Ann St is charged with Pointing a Firearm, Careless Storage of a Firearm and Assault Police. He was held in custody for a bail hearing. Cst Christian Elia is investigating.
