OPP looking for driver who fled accident scene Update

On November 28th at 7:00 pm the Warren OPP Detachment investigated a single vehicle collision on Hwy 17 between Verner and Sturgeon Falls. No one was injured as a result of the collision however the driver of the vehicle fled the scene on foot.

The OPP, along with the West Nipissing Police Service and the Sudbury Regional Police arrested Paul Hamlyn, age 21, from North Bay in a field north of Hwy 17 by Verner. Hamlyn is charged with unlawful possession of a firearm and possession of property obtained by crime, he will appear in bail court this morning in North Bay.

West Nipissing - On November 28th at 7:00 pm the Warren OPP Detachment investigated a single vehicle collision on Hwy 17 between Verner and Sturgeon Falls. No one was injured as a result of the collision however the driver of the vehicle fled the scene on foot.

The OPP, along with the West Nipissing Police Service and Greater Sudbury Police Service are currently searching for a 21 year old man from the North Bay area. Police are asking that anyone who observes a suspicious male between Warren and Sturgeon Falls notify either the OPP or the West Nipissing Police Service immediately.
