Minister of Children and Youth Services pops by for a visit

Minister of Children and Youth Services, Laurel Broten visits with Sabrina Spiess and Judy Sharpe, Executive Director of One Kids Place.

Minister of Children and Youth Services, Laurel Broten paid a quick visit to the Bay on Friday on fact finding tour. Broten, joined by Nipissing MPP Monique Smith, toured a number of child and family service agencies in the area to hear first-hand the challenges, concerns and improvements made and needed from stakeholders.

Broten toured the Family Enrichment Program, LIPI and One Kid's Place. Broten says that the province is looking at agencies like OKP who have managed to be innovative in delivering services while keeping children and their families at the centre of all they do.
