New film festival coming to the Bay

The Near North Mobile Media Lab, in partnership with the Capitol Centre, is proud to announce a new documentary film festival coming to North Bay called Doc North. In its inaugural year Doc North is giving special focus to documentary films with a Northern twist or documentaries by professional & emerging filmmakers from North Eastern Ontario.

The deadline for submissions is January 7th 2011 for both the professional & amateur category. Please view our website www.docnorthfestival.ca for more information (including the mailing address) and to download an updated copy of the submission form. The festival will be held from April 15th and 16th 2011 at the Capitol Centre. The entry fee is $20 for both professional & amateur categories up until November 19th 2010, following that deadline the entry fee becomes $25.00 for both the professional and amateur category.
