Chances are you know a Dreamcoat Kid.

Over eleven years, thousands of children in the North Bay and surrounding area have experienced the magic that is Dreamcoat Fantasy Theatre. Many of these children and families come to Dreamcoat as cast members in one of several productions Dreamcoat launches each year. Many parents, grandparents and siblings have volunteered their time working behind the scenes in support of a production. Many more have enjoyed a spectacular performance as part of a school or class.

Dreamcoat Fantasy Theatre has been working hard to get the word out about its entry in the 2010 Aviva Community Fund competition. And now on the eve of the final day of the first round of voting, it is poised to make it directly into the semi-finals of this exciting competition.

As of press time, Dreamcoat was counted in the top 10 submissions of its funding category ($25,000-$100,000). Top 10 out of 304 (and growing) submissions! But the competition is gaining fast and could easily move Dreamcoat out of contention.

Dreamcoat needs North Bay to VOTE!

Anyone can sign up at the competition's website (you won't receive junk mail or sales calls) and register to vote. Each person may vote 10 times in each of 3 rounds. Round 1 ends Friday, October 15th at noon! Dreamcoat need’s every possible vote to help it stay in the running for funding that could make an incredible contribution to the program that Dreamcoat provides to area children.

A Facebook Group (Dreamcoat! The JOY is Contagious) has been set up to gather Dreamcoat’s supporters together, to share information and to encourage as many people in our community to vote as possible.
