In an effort to increase Road Safety in North Bay and area, the North Bay Police Service has reached out to the students of Nipissing University and Canadore College, many of whom are new to the North Bay area.
Through utilizing the distribution lists of each institution, which include all students and faculty, the North Bay Police Service was able to inform the school population of speed limits in the areas of the institutions and of the strict enforcement of drinking and driving laws.
The North Bay Police Service intends to continue to seek new avenues of utilizing technology to deliver the message of Road Safety in efforts to ensure the safe and efficient movement of traffic within the City of North Bay.
