Conseil scolaire public du Nord-Est de l'Ontario (CSPNE) is proud to announce that four of its students have received a Queen Elizabeth II Aiming for the Top Scholarship from the Province of Ontario. The Queen Elizabeth II Aiming for the Top Scholarships is a Government of Ontario program designed to recognize students who received their High School Diploma with high marks and who apply to attend a recognized postsecondary educational institution in Ontario. Students who maintain an overall average of 80 % during their postsecondary studies can receive a maximum of $3500 per year for up to four years.

The following students are the recipients of a Queen Elizabeth II Aiming for the Top Scholarship for 2010-2011.

Mireille Charlebois from École secondaire publique L'Alliance, Iroquois Falls.

Ann Dégagné from École secondaire publique Odyssée, North Bay.

Stéphanie Rochon from École secondaire publique Northern, Sturgeon Falls.

Sylvie Picotte from École secondaire publique Renaissance, Timmins.

The Board congratulates the recipients for their achievements and their success. "We are extremely proud to have among our student body students whose academic excellence is recognized throughout Ontario" said Mr. Roch Gallien, Director of Education.
