Run for the Cure has a great turn out

Over 600 locals laced up their running shoes and sported a little something pink to run or walk the route for the 6th annual CIBC Run for the Cure at the North Bay Waterfront on Sunday.

With 46 teams participating the Warriors of Hope raised the most for a women's team taking in just over $6,100.

The event is considered to be one of the largest volunteer driven events in the country and this year local residents raised an amanzing $103,355 for breast cancer research.
