The North Bay Police Service would like to caution the public about bears being in the built up areas of the city.
We have had complaints recently, particularly in the Airport hill area. A bear that was described as fairly large was observed going towards the park on Pearce St.
Residents are urged to keep their garbage inside as the bears are still foraging for food.
