Mayor's Trust supports the GTG

Mayor Victor Fedeli presents a $1,000 donation to Carolyn Samuel, President, and Geoff Richardson, Public Relations, Gateway Theatre Guild.

The donation is from The Mayor's Trust - United Way, which collects local donations all year long. The money will be used to support the Guild's 2010-11 season including 'Tuesdays with Morrie', 'Girl in the Goldfish Bowl', and 'Connected'.For more information about the Theatre Guild, go to www.gatewaytheatreguild.ca or call 385-1425 to reserve tickets.

Many local companies have employee payroll funds which are directed to the United Way, including Earth Tech, TD Canada Trust, Canada Post, PCL Contractors, Royal Bank, Canada Bread, Provincial Government, CIBC, Bell

Canada, Aviva, and Future Shop. Future Shop and the LCBO also have Point-of-Sale promotions during the holiday season, raising thousands of dollars for local support.
