Strang steps in as interim chamber president

The North Bay & District Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that Mr. John Strang of U-Need-A-Cab will step in as Interim President of the Chamber, during the municipal election campaign.

As required by our by-laws, any person running for political election, whether it be municipal, provincial or federal, must take a leave of absence upon submitting their nomination papers. As such, the following Executive members are taking a leave of absence from the Chamber board: Sean Lawlor and Derek Shogren.

Any comment from the Chamber on any issue, will now be directed to Interim President John Strang, with Vice President John Crescenzi of Holiday Inn Express & Suites, as his alternate.
