Lavigne is seeking re-election in Callander

I would like to formally announce my intentions to run for re election as Mayor of Callander. It has been a privilege to serve the Municipality and with your support I wish to continue with our plans to make Callander a great place to live and a great place to play.

I would like to thank Council, all the volunteers and the community at large for their support over the years. With your support and under my direction, we will continue with our plans to grow our community, improve our infrastructure and deliver on all the services that our municipality can provide.

I am encouraged by our methods to budget for the future and care this Council has shown in delivering past budgets without any significant increases in our tax rates.

It would be an honour to serve you once more and I look forward to the challenges ahead.
