The One Stop franchise has done it again, launching a new site in their series of one-stop lines in hopes of making home renovations easier. The announcement was made Thursday at the Holiday Inn Express in front of a small crowd of local business people and dignitaries including Mayor Vic Fedeli and councillor Mike Anthony.

The OneStopConstruction.ca is the second addition to the One Stop brand with more in the works.

Last year, "One Stop" launched the Wedding portal "www.onestopweddings.ca" and has expanded into multiple markets across the province and into British Columbia.

Local entrepreneurs Dave Dunkley and Kyle Selle started with a simple concept and have started to change the way people go about researching projects.

From wedding planning to researching contractors. suppliers and professional services, the duo believes this form of marketing is working.

“Last year our wedding portal was launched and we hear people talking about it all the time how it has helped them plan their wedding," said Selle.

"We want the same reaction with the construction site.”

Selle and Dunkley are teaming up with renovator Rob Gorecki, who sees the value in the unique website.

With help from the Business Centre of Nipissing and Parry Sound and Stepping Stones, a hub for young entrepreneurs, these young businessmen have managed to take one idea and turn it into a series of one stop web pages focused on helping people, and businesses access each other.

“These guys have stayed local and kept the talent in North Bay when they could have went anywhere else to build this business. North Bay is the best place in the world for support from the community for new businesses,” said the Business Centre's Anna Iati.

While One Stop Weddings and One Stop Construction has made its way to other cities in the region, these businessmen have no intentions of moving their company or focus away from North Bay.
