Ignatieff's director of communications dies in mvc

Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff's director of communications, Mario Lague, died this morning following a motorcycle collision.

Reports indicate that Lague's motorcycle collided with a vehicle in Ottawa as he was on his way to work.

Lague took over as Ignatieff's director of communications last fall. Lague was once served as ambassador to Costa Rica and he worked for Paul Martin.

Ignatieff, who is currently in Iqaluit on his cross country tour, has been informed of the accident.
