Garden wizard Paul Zammit in Callander this Saturday

This very dynamic speaker has entertained and informed his audiences at trade shows here in Canada and the U.S.A.

Paul Zammit, a graduate of the University of Guelph, is the current Director of Horticulture at the Toronto Botanical Garden. Formerly, he was employed at Plant World, a large retail garden centre where he was the perennial department manager for almost two decades. He is a regular speaker at garden clubs and horticultural trade shows across Canada and in the United States. In 2010, Paul also presented in Germany and Switzerland. He has appeared both on television and in print.

Paul and Uli's home garden has been featured in Canadian Living, Gardening Life, Canadian Gardening and Gardening How-To. The garden was awarded first place in the environmental garden category in the 2001 City of Toronto
Garden Contest followed by an award in 2003 for the Best Use of Plant Material in the City of Toronto West District Garden Contest.

Paul's container designs have also been showcased several times in assorted gardening magazines. In 2008, he won first place in the Scotts Miracle-Gro, Do Up the Doorstep competition, for his container entry at Canada Blooms.

Paul has been awarded the Young Professionals award by the Perennial Plant Association. In 2010, he was the recipient of an industry Service Award.

He will speak on gardens for all seasons.
