Remember Kate Pace Way closed for SIP

Summer in the Park wishes to remind the community of the following street and Kate Pace Way closures related to this year’s event.

Street Closures

The following streets will be closed temporarily from 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 29, 2010 until 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 3, 2010:

1. Memorial Drive between Monk Street and Judge Avenue
2. Monk Street between Stanley Street and Memorial Drive
3. Stanley Street between Memorial Drive and Regina Street
4. Beth Street at Memorial Drive
5. Colgan Street at Memorial Drive
6. James Street at Memorial Drive
7. Subject to the provision of access passes and information to businesses and residents in the affected area, and the erection of appropriate signage, barricades and control gates by the Summer in the Park Committee.

***Memorial Drive will be open from Main Street West to Monk Street as well as the waterfront park, Marina, Carousel and Train, Marathon Beach, access to Kings Landing, Chief Commanda I and The Boat Restaurant.

Kate Pace Way

The Kate Pace Way will be closed from Lee Avenue at the ONR Soccer Field, through Lee Park, and along Memorial Drive to Monk Street from 8:00 am on Monday, July 26, 2010, until 4:00 pm on Wednesday, August 4, 2010, subject to the erection of appropriate signage and barricades by the North Bay Summer in the Park Committee.
