Ontario will be assisting Manitoba's forest fire fighting efforts by sending two CL-415 water bombers, one birddog aircraft and an Air Attack Officer to The Pas, Manitoba. As well, five FireRanger crews and one agency representative will be sent to Thompson. These resources are departing from the West Fire Region and will be arriving in Manitoba later today.

Campfires are part of enjoying the outdoors, however, each year campfires cause many wildfires. To ensure your campfire doesn't become a wildfire make sure you check for local restrictions, use a designated fire pit if one is available, keep water and a shovel
nearby, never leave your fire unattended and make sure your campfire is completely extinguished before leaving the site.
