Marine vessel collision claims the life of Gravenhurst man

Manitoulin OPP are continuing their investigation into a marine vessel collision on Lake Manitou, Manitoulin Island at approximately 9:00 PM on the 23 rd of July 2010-07-25

As a result of the incident, three persons entered the water. Two of the persons swam to shore and a third person was missing.

On the 24 July 2010 at approximately 6:30 PM Manitoulin OPP Marine Unit and the OPP Search and Recovery Unit from Orillia recovered a male from the waters of Lake Manitou.

Manitoulin OPP has identified the deceased as Nevin MacGregor (44 yr) of Gravenhurst, Ontario.

Police are continuing the investigation.
