North Bay Blooms was delighted to recognize Cameron Sanders, 53 Joseph St. as having this summer's "Best Front Yard Garden.

"Definitely a family effort, Elizabeth and daughters Caitlynn and Sara all take their turns weeding the pathways and cutting back the deadheads," notes Blooms spokesman Chris Mayne.

Enjoyed and well know by many of the neighbours already, Cameron's garden feature a school of goldfish, a small water fall, several gazebos and a mix of brightly coloured flowers and shrubbery.

Bob Hudson of Burrows Country Gardens was on hand to present a $200 certificate for first place. Betty Foy of the North Bay Horticultural Society was also on hand to add her congratulations as the Society had helped choose the top ten from almost a hundred nominated gardens around
town. North Bay Master Gardeners lead by Sue Grieg made the final top the selections.

Tied for second place were:

Maria Belec - 7 Blair St and Lucy Miller - 117 Sable Crescent.

Third place was awarded to Marianne Buck - 749 McIntyre St. W.

Each of the runner ups will receive gift certificates from
either L'Amis's or Laporte's Garden Centers.
