North Bay Blooms judges are now looking around town for the best of North Bay Front Yard Gardens. With the help of the North Bay Horticultural Society and the North Bay Master Gardeners, almost a hundred front yard gardens will be looked at with the best three receiving gift certificates from L'Ami's, Laportes & Burrows garden centers.

"Front yards are chosen, as they are easier for everyone to look at and enjoy without entering on to private property at all hours of the day," explains North Bay Blooms spokesperson Chris Mayne.

"They also tend to be very sociable places to meet and talk with neighbours and passers-by."

The committee is hosting a free bus tour around town next Saturday, July 17th and details for the event are available at www.northbayblooms.com.

"And for anyone with a last minute nomination or front yard recognition you may still be able to get it in by contacting us, again through the website or by calling 474 1536," says Mayne.

The final top ten gardens will be announced next Friday, July 16th and then top three on Friday, July 23rd.

"Thanks to all of the judges for their help and to Canada Post mail carriers for once again helping bring in all of the nominations."
