East Ferris man charged with impaired driving

On July 6, 2010 shortly after 7 p.m., North Bay Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a traffic complaint of a suspected impaired driver travelling eastbound on Highway 17 in East Ferris Township.

As a result of the information provided by witnesses and police investigation, Randall RANSOM, 50, of Centennial Crescent, East Ferris Township was charged with Impaired Operation, s.253 (1) (a) and Exceed 80 milligrams of blood alcohol content, s. 253(1) (b) of the Criminal Code.

RANSOM is scheduled to appear for court in North Bay on July 20, 2010.
