On June 22, 2010 a North Bay & District Humane Society OSPCA Agent along with an OSPCA Senior Inspector attended a residence on Delaware Ave. in the City of North Bay to follow-up on information released to the media by the North Bay Police Services.

Upon inspection of the premise the Agent and Inspector determined that the reported animals were not in immediate life-threatening distress.

The OSPCA issued certain orders to the owner of the animals and will ensure their compliance in due course.

The Humane Society would like to remind everyone that the welfare of all animals is one of our primary goals.

Any mistreatment of any animal is a serious matter and will be investigated with the assistance of the OSPCA.
