911 call ends with a humane society investigation

On the 21st of June during the afternoon hours after the North Bay Police Service received a 911 hang up call, officers attended a residence on Delaware Ave. to investigate the matter.

The officers discovered approximately 68 tea cup poodles and feces and urine all about the residence. There was also poor ventilation, no food or water. A room was seen to contain several cages with 3 dogs to a cage.

The North Bay and District Humane Society was called in to investigate further.

The police officer was able to issue a summons for possessing dogs without a licence and the Humane Society investigation continues.
