Taking Aktion on trash at Duchesnay Falls

The North Bay Aktion Club partnered with North Bay Blooms this Wednesday evening to clean up the Duchesnay Falls area despite a little rain and wet weather.

About 12 bags of litter, mostly plastic bottles and food packaging, were picked up along the trails, around the parking area and along the Highway 17 roadside.

One of the most photographed and picturesque places in North Bay the Aktion Club members were pleased to be able to get involved and help out for the evening.

While there were no large items like shopping carts or tires it was still disappointing to see so much litter cast aside around the area.

The Aktion Club's next major event will be their Bowling Tournament and Dinner at Partners Bowling Center on June 17 and friends and guests are welcome.
