Were you part of the action?

In 2009, the Nipissing Region welcomed a number of Film & Television projects. Whether it was the downtown Olympic announcement in North Bay, waterfront locations in Callander, tavern scenes in West Nipissing, a funeral in Mattawa or a farm house setting in Powassan, we all saw the action.

Communities throughout the region are working collaboratively to create a database of talent (for background actors, please bring a photo), services and potential filming locations. If you were involved with any of the productions that took place last year or would like to be involved in projects that may come to the area, stop by to be included in the regional inventory.

Anyone is welcome to drop in at any one of the following locations:

North Bay
Discovery North Bay Museum - Monday, June 7, 1 p.m.–3 p.m.

Callander
26 Main Street North, Unit 9 - Tuesday, June 8, 3 p.m.–6 p.m.

Powassan
Powassan Sportsplex Community Recreation Centre - Wednesday, June 9, 4 p.m.–7 p.m.

Mattawa

Sturgeon Falls
Sturgeon Falls Information Centre - Friday, June 11, 11 a.m.–1 p.m.
