NBPS issues caution: North Bay Food Bank takes place in September

Recently the North Bay Police Service has received complaints of someone apparently representing themselves to be from the North Bay Food Bank and attempting to collect funds on their behalf.

It should be noted that the only financial drive that the North Bay Food Bank holds is very well publicized and takes place in Sept. where a dinner and auction take place.
Other than actual food drives the North Bay Food Bank does not openly go out and collect money drives.

If anyone becomes aware of any such person attempting to solicit money for this purpose, our Service is asking them to call either the Food Bank at 495-3290 or the North Bay Police at 497-5555.
