Englehart woman charged with first degree murder

The Ontario Provincial Police are currently investigating the death of a 46 year old man found deceased Saturday May 22, 2010, in the Town of Englehart.

Officers from Temiskaming Detachment responded to a call at approximately 5:37 a.m. to a residence on Eight Avenue in the Town of Englehart. The officers found the man deceased. The death is being investigated as a Homicide.

The deceased has been identified as a Ricky MILLS 46 of Englehart. Charged with First Degree Murder are a Elizabeth Lisa MCTAVISH 49 of Englehart and a George YARKIE of Englehart. Both accused have been held in custody and will appear in Haileybury Court on Tuesday May 25, 2010.

The investigation is continuing by officers from the Northeast Region Crime Unit, Identification Unit and Temiskaming Detachment, under the direction of OPP Detective Inspector Ken LEPPERT, Criminal Investigation Branch.
