OPP investigating suspicious death in Englehart

Englehart – The Ontario Provincial Police are currently investigating the death of a 46 year old man found deceased this morning, Saturday May 22, 2010, in the Town of Englehart.

Officers from Temiskaming Detachment responded to a call today at approximately 5:37 a.m. to a residence on Eight Avenue in the Town of Englehart. The officers found the man deceased. The death is being investigated as a Homicide.

Identification of the deceased is being withheld while police attempt to locate and notify next of kin.

The investigation is continuing by officers from the Northeast Region Crime Unit, Identification Unit and Temiskaming Detachment, under the direction of OPP Detective Inspector Ken LEPPERT, Criminal Investigation Branch.
