Community Clean-up Day is this Wednesday night

Tim Hortons is proud to partner with North Bay Blooms and councilor Chris Mayne, to host a Community Clean-up Day on Wednesday May 19th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. @ the Northgate Square North End Parking lot..

This night is re-scheduled from the Community Clean up Day Cancelled on Saturday May 8th due to the snow storm.

The public is welcome to come out and help; there will be free t-shirts and gloves for all taking part, plus much more. As part of our ongoing commitment to the environment, Tim Hortons partners with communities across North America to help reduce litter and keep neighborhoods looking beautiful. This will mark the 9th year for a Tim Hortons sponsored community clean up day in North Bay.

“As a neighbor and active member of the community Tim Hortons is pleased to support this important project and join with our customers to help keep North Bay streets clean,” says Carrie Lynn and Ralph Closs, local store owners. Other local owners supporting the clean up include Peter and Brandon Moffat and Ken Coughlin.

Tim Hortons has taken a leadership role to help tackle litter in the communities where we live, work and play. Throughout the year, Tim Hortons supports a variety of community clean-up events in more than 150 regions across Canada. In addition, all stores continue to educate and create awareness through anti-litter messages on in-store LCD screens and drive-thru exit signs. They also encourage customers to use travel mugs and receive a .10 cent discount.
