City is not undertaking water testing

The City of North Bay has received several calls from residents reporting that they have been contacted by individuals representing themselves as City of North Bay employees and seeking access to private homes for the purpose of conducting water testing.

The City is not undertaking water testing and has no knowledge of these individuals.

Should the City need access our employees would be driving City of North Bay vehicles and carry proper City of North Bay identification.

We encourage our residents to use caution before opening your door to strangers. If you are not certain that the individual is a City employee, please contact the City Works Division at 474-4340 to confirm their identity.
